Delete your CarEager account

1. Delete it yourself in the app

1. Open the CarEager app and sign in.
2. Go to Account, then Settings.
3. Tap Delete account, and confirm.

Deletion takes effect immediately and you are signed out. You do not need to contact us.

2. Ask us to delete it

If you no longer have the app, or cannot sign in, ask us from the phone number your account is registered to, so we can confirm the request is yours:

• Email care@careager.com with the subject “Delete my CarEager account” and your registered phone number, or
• Call or WhatsApp 871-000-6161 and say you want your account deleted.

We will confirm the number is yours, delete the account, and tell you when it is done.

3. What is deleted

• Your name, phone number, email address and GST number on your CarEager account.
• The addresses you saved for pickup and service.
• Your ability to sign in: the account can no longer be used.

4. What we keep, and why

• Invoices, tax and accounting recordsfor work we carried out, and the bookings, job cards and car details those records refer to. Indian tax law requires us to keep them — under GST, for at least 72 months from the due date of the annual return for that year.
• Your phone number, on a closed record. It can no longer be used to sign in. We keep it so an account cannot be quietly re-created in your name, and so we can answer you if you ever ask whether your deletion was carried out.

App usage statistics are collected only if you allowed them in the app, and are not linked to your name or phone number.
